We went rafting on the Klamath three afternoons during our stay. The first day of rafting had the
biggest rapids, and Evan stayed at the ranch. We stopped for a hike up a creek to a waterfall,
which involved climbing over rocks, walking along a narrow trail, and swimming upstream.
The next two days were easier, so Evan got to come with us. He loved getting splashed in the
rapids (he says "rabbits"), and jumping off the boat into the river. One day we saw a black bear
across the river, and we saw bald eagles and ospreys several times.
